LearningLinx specialises in applying the Orton Gillingham Approach (OGA) to enhance the learning experience for individuals who struggle in the classroom with learning challenges, both diagnosed and undiagnosed.  

Following a thorough and detailed assessment process, this evidence based method assists individuals to overcome the often debilitating challenges that come with learning difficulties. Structured, diagnostic, and prescriptive therapy sessions are developed based on current abilities and individual learning goals.

Meet our Director- Megan Jones

Megan is a qualified early childhood and primary teacher with over 10 years of experience working in classrooms, rural and remote settings with disadvantaged children, coordination of learning support in whole school settings and working one on one with individuals utilising the Orton Gillingham Approach.

She is near completion of her Masters Degree in Special Education and is in the process of being certified at the Associate level with the Orton Gillingham Academy in the United States.

Megan has a particular interest in working with children with learning disabilities and difficulties. This passion developed when her own children were diagnosed with specific learning difficulties and while looking for answers and opportunities for her children, she discovered the Orton Gillingham Approach. Megan has experienced first-hand the challenges that parents/carers face when trying to find help in an area that is extremely complex and difficult to navigate. She understands the education system uses resources to the best of its ability, however, there is still a substantial need for something MORE for individuals with dyslexia and other learning difficulties. 

Utilising her knowledge and experience with the core principles of the OGA, Megan is able to create and deliver individualised interventions that are prescriptive to the needs of her unique learners. She is committed to providing learners with the skills and confidence to be successful at school and throughout life.
